Who is Nico Cole?

Nicholas “Nicco” Cole is a promising baseball player who played for the Titans at California State University, Fullerton.

Nicco is originally from South Lake, Texas, near Grapevine.He attended Southlake Carroll High School, where his success Started in baseball. Nicco was named Texas 6A Pitcher of the Year, First Team District Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-State Pitcher. He was also named to the state All-State Championship team.

Nicco Cole earned a spot on the Howard College baseball team before transferring to Cal State Fullerton.

Titans Baseball Confirms Nico Cole’s Death

When news of Nicco’s death broke on social media, many friends, fans and other players shared their condolences.

Nico Cole’s death was not confirmed by his former team until June 26, 2021.

Titans Baseball, California State Fullerton, tweet: “The Titans are saddened to hear of Nico’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go to the Cole family.”

A close friend of Nico, from Carroll High School, also tweeted about his untimely death. they tweet: “Nicco, you are my best friend and brother I never had. I can’t believe it’s true. I don’t want to believe it, but God has brought you home. You will always be my brother .Love you 8.”

The “8” refers to Nicco Cole’s high school jersey number.

Nico coach The Howard Institute tweeted about his death, calling him a “leader.” Coach Howard wrote: “I think I speak for most coaches when I say we (coaches) chose this profession in hopes of impacting the lives of young people. Those who see us coach go on to succeed in life after sport. is the most rewarding aspect of the job.

“Knowing what kind of person and leader Nico Cole is has created a hole somewhere in my heart that will never be filled. For this, I will be losing sleep over the next few days and years. However, when I know I do feel at peace when Nico is in heaven with his loved ones.”
